Pictures can tell stories. With several years’ experience as a wedding photographer, Chung Hu captures thousands of valuable moments in people’s lives. Always the adventurer, Chung started traveling in his spare time and capturing nature’s moments in the best light. Since graduating from UT Austin and working as a software developer, he combines his technology background with his passion for photography in order to showcase his timeless landscape photography. Vibrant color and dramatic landscape photographs need perfect timing and lighting, which is Chung’s philosophy in his art works. Currently, Chung can be found out on trails, a camera in hand and tripod over the shoulder, chasing that elusive light.
Images are shot with full frame Canon DSLR, with lenses ranging from 16-35mm F2.8L, 24-105mm F4L, to 70-200mm F4L. To achieve a natural looking image, a full set of graduated neutral density filter is usually never far from reach.
All images are captured in RAW format, and developed in Adobe Photoshop. None of the images are staged or digitally manipulated to add or subtract elements that were not be present in the scene.
